Case Study

Atcost barn

Our client’s owned an Atcost barn and as they were looking to downsize they decided to explore the possibilities surrounding replacing the barn with a new dwelling. Discussions with the Local Authority showed us that they wished the building to maintain an agricultural feel and so the design had to reflect this, whilst still creating a warm and welcoming family home. We managed to gain permission to replace the barn with a new three bedroomed dwelling constructed of local sandstone, corten steel and a zinc roof.

The job was totally bespoke, our clients had a wealth of features and ideas they wished to incorporate and we were incredibly proud of the end result.
